On August 22nd, the Wisconsin Agribusiness Council will hold their annual fundraising auction for the 23rd time. The auction will take place at Stoughton's "Mandt Center", and will raise money to teach the public about fiber, food, and natural resources.
Thinking about attending the auction in Stoughton?
You can bid on hotel certificates, restaurant certificates, landscaping and orchard supplies, animal supplies, and much more! What's more, you can also purchase refreshments if you'd like to "cool down" from all of the auction action.
Many businesses in Wisconsin have donated to the auction...last year it raised over $20,000. These businesses have primarily donated products and services of value...if you are a business that is looking to donate, items can be pledged by giving the council a call at (815) 858-5040.
About the Wisconsin Agribusiness Council
The Wisconsin Agribusiness Council and it's educational foundation, Wisconsin Agribusiness Foundation, sets out to educate the public about the everyday lives of Wisconsin farmers and our rich agricultural past here in Wisconsin. Another purpose that the council serves is to give their industry a voice regarding political decisions that are made down in Madison. |
